A man is on the run following an armed robbery at Moranbah
Around 7am Friday, a man entered a tobacco store in Town Square Avenue allegedly armed with a knife.
He demanded money from the shop assistant and fled with a sum of cash.

The employee was not physically injured during the incident.
Police are appealing to witnesses, or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from between 6am and 8am on Town Square Avenue, Griffin Street, Batchelor Parade, and Belyando Avenue, to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
