The Least Favourites Left Behind

It's flooding again along the Bruce Highway, and it means the supermarket shelves have gone empty.
Here’s what I can’t work out, when the Highway floods down south around Rocky, we run out of fruit and veg because the trucks can’t get through … which suggests that our fresh produce comes from down south.
But, when the Highway floods up north, how come the fruit and veg still can’t get to us, surely it should just come up the coast.
That doesn’t make sense. Make sure you check local fruit and veg stores if your local major supermarket is empty.
