National recall on some Nannas apple pies
Some batches of Nanna's Family Apple Pies are being recalled across the country because of fears of glass contamination.
Only 600-gram apple pies, made by Patties Foods, with a best-before date between October 21 and October 22, 2020, are affected.
#recall: Patties Foods Ltd is recalling Nanna’s Family Apple Pie from Coles, Woolworths, IGAs, Foodlands and other independent supermarkets nationally, due to the potential presence of foreign matter (glass). The glass contamination was the result of equipment failure, Food Standards Australia said.
Consumers who purchased the pies from Coles, Woolworths, IGA and other independent supermarkets can return them for a full refund.
