Last night the RACQ CQRescue Helicopter Service were called into action to rescue residents
it had been a relatively calm day, but last night all hell broke loose on the Eungella Range as fires joined and residents were advised by the QFES to return to their homes - it was too dangerous to get out by road.
The Queensland Police Service also called the RACQ CQ Rescue Helicopter Service to fly in and pick up 12 people.
