18 months ago when a Senate Inquiry was announced into price gouging by airlines in regional Australia, Isaac Regional Council and the community felt that finally there might be a way forward.
Instead, yesterday the Senate Committee announced that regional airlines had been cleared of price gouging - and have folded up and passed the matter onto the Productivity Commission for further investigation.
I spoke to Isaac Mayor Anne Baker who is staggered at the snub.
