Whitsunday residents – today’s the day for the Airlie Beach Ferris Wheel’s grand opening.
There will be FREE rides from 10 am to 11 Friday for locals – all you need is a Whitsunday address on your driver’s licence or ID.
The stunning 35-metre Ferris Wheel will light up the skyline and provide breath taking views of Airlie Beach, Whitsundays and surrounds.

It’s running as a trial until October 2025 – open seven days a week, with tickets as low as 10 dollars.
