Police are appealing for information as they investigate a serious crash, involving two motorbikes, at Chelona.
A 47-year-old Rockhampton woman has been left in a serious condition and another man has been hospitalised, following the crash on Friday afternoon.
Police say the pair were travelling northbound on the Bruce Highway at around 3.10pm.
It’s believed they overtook several vehicles and as they returned to their lane they collided with each other and both lost control.
One of the riders, the 47-year-old Rockhampton woman, was transported to Mackay Base Hospital in a serious condition.
The second rider, a 49-year-old Rockhampton man, was taken to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam vision to contact police.
