Shower Malfunction Leads Resident To Missing Pipes
A West Mackay resident, going through their usual Monday morning routine, was surprised when they tried to have a shower at around 5:00AM but couldn't get any water to come out of the nozzle.
They walked outside their Nebo Road unit, only to discover the water mains had been turned off and 10 metres of copper piping had been disconnected and stolen.
The piping is known to have been stolen between 9.30pm on February 10 and 5:00AM.
Police said anyone carrying or transporting 10 metres of piping is likely to stand out.
Anyone with information about the offence or the current location of the stolen piping is encouraged to contact police as soon as possible.
