Boatie Found Alive Off Mid Molle - Rescue Chopper Called To Third Search

UPDATE | We have just received some fantastic news, the boatie missing off Mid Molle has been found alive and well.
His empty boat was located off Mid Molle and a search launched.
The RACQ CQ Rescue Helicopter was called in to assist.
He has just been located by Jet Ski riders.

Then RACQ CQ Rescue was called to a third search and rescue mission off Hamilton Island.
We have just received news that a six metre vessel has been located by RACQ CQ Rescue. The man on board set off an EPIRB after his vessel broke down.

EARLIER | The rescue helicopter is heading out to look for a missing boatie off the coast of the Whitsundays.
Someone located an empty vessel at around 8:30AM.
It was located close to Mid Molle.
RACQ CQ Rescue is heading out to help with the search.
It comes after the body of a boatie was found at St Helens Beach.
A search was launched after his vessel was found at 630PM on Thursday at the mouth of the Murray River.
The rescue chopper, police officers and Volunteer Marine Rescue crews were called in to help with the search.
The body of the man was found not far from the boat, on the river bank at around 8:30PM.
There are no suspicious circumstances.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
