Car Stolen Glenella
A car has been stolen from the side of the road in Glenella,
At about 5:15pm on April 10 the owner of a grey 1999 Nissan Patrol (registration number 1SW4G2) was travelling along Glenella Richmond Road when they were forced to stop due to a mechanical issue.
The car was parked on the side of the road and left locked and secured. The driver taking the car keys with him.
When the owner of the car returned at 5pm on April 11 to make arrangements for its removal it was discovered that the car had been stolen and the theft was reported to police.

The theft of broken down and unattended cars is not new to our district.
Police are recommending car owners look to have their vehicle towed from these locations at the earliest available opportunity where it is possible to do so.
