We are being urged to keep an eye out for any stray cattle near Dysart on Wednesday.

Drovers are making their way along Dysart/Clermont Road heading towards Dysart with approximately 2,500 head of cattle.

Locals took to Facebook to advise that there are some calves in the group too.

According to the post, the group travelled past the Cotherstone/Capella Road intersection earlier and should end up setting up camp towards Dysart overnight.

There are plenty of 'droving cattle' warning signs on the road so motorists are being urged to slow down and keep an eye out for drovers, cattle and their dogs.
