Burglar Climbs Into Home Through Roof, Slade Point
A Slade Point resident has been woken by stange noises on their roof early on Friday morning.
They were woken after midnight but when the noises stopped they drifted back off to sleep.
After waking up later in the morning, the resident learned that a burglar had disturbed the tin roof enabling them to climb into the Blackwood Street home through a man-hole.
Once inside the home, the electricity supply was interfered with.
Nothing has been confirmed as stolen throughout the home at this time.
The burglar unlocked the front doors to exit the home.
Entry was then gained into a vehicle parked in the open garage at the address.
Although the interior of the vehicle was searched and the steering wheel interfered with, nothing was stolen and the car was not moved.
