Man Stabbed In Seaforth
UPDATE | A 45-year-old man has been charged over a stabbing at a Seaforth caravan park on Wednesday.
It will be alleged around 3:00AM the two men got into a fight and one of the men was stabbed multiple times.
The 48-year-old Sunshine Coast man was taken to the Mackay Base Hospital with head, chest and back injuries in a serious but stable condition.
The 45-year-old has been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
He is due to face a Mackay Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
EARLIER | A 45-year-old man from Redcliffe, north of Brisbane, is being questioned over the stabbing at Seaforth.
The victim, a 48-year-old man, was stabbed in the head, chest and back after he got into a fight with another man at a caravan park at 3:00AM on Wednesday.
No charges have been laid at this stage.
EARLIER | A man has reportedly been stabbed multiple times in Seaforth on Wednesday morning.
Police went to a Palm Avenue address at around 3:28AM.
The victim, who is aged in his 40s, suffered head, chest and back injuries during the attack.
He was transported in a serious but stable condition to Mackay Hospital.
