Three new COVID cases in Queensland
Queensland has recorded three new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
It is believed these three cases are not linked to three cases that were confirmed on Wednesday.
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said both health and police services had responded quickly to these new outbreaks.
"One is an international arrival who was in hotel quarantine," said Ms Palaszczuk.
"And two, and a couple from Brisbane who attended the Apollo restaurant in Sydney, came back from Sydney and self isolated."
Queensland Health conducted almost 6800 tests on Wednesday with almost 1000 of those in Brisbane's Metro South area.
