Two patients have been hospitalised with hand burns after a truck caught alight on the Bruce Highway at Ilbilbie.
The incident closed the Bruce Highway in both directions for some time yesterday from around 2.40pm.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and three people were assessed at the scene.

Two patients, a girl in her early teens and a man in his 60s were taken to Mackay Hospital in stable conditions to be treated for burns.
