Police have charged a 19-year-old man after a stolen vehicle was tracked in Rockhampton on July 2.
Police will allege around 3am on Wednesday, the man gained entry into a Statesman Drive property in Emerald, before taking the keys to a Blue Ford Falcon and stealing the vehicle.
Police began tracking the vehicle and successfully deployed a tyre deflation device in Rockhampton around 11.45am yesterday.
The vehicle came to a stop a short time later before two men fled the vehicle on foot.
Officers located and arrested a 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old man a short time later.
A 19-year-old Frenchville man has since been charged with several offences including three counts each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and enter dwelling with intent.
He will appear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court on today.
Investigations remain ongoing.
