Police are hunting an alleged offender who clipped a e-scooter rider on Friday night.
It’s understood around 11.15pm at Island Drive, Cannonvale, a dark coloured vehicle which police beleive is a Ford Everest drove at speed and struck the e-scooter.
A 40 year old local man was riding the e-mobility device, sustaining serious injuries and needing to be taken to hospital.

Police say the driver of the car failed to stop at the scene or give any assistance and left the scene before police showed up.
Anyone with any information on the vehicle or driver is urged to contact police. This includes anyone on Island Drive at the time who may have CCTV or dashcam footage.
