Trying to hit your daily protein goals? You might want to double-check your fridge before you grab your next snack. A major food recall has just been issued for a popular protein pudding, and the reason is enough to make anyone lose their appetite.

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand has sounded the alarm on batches of Arla Protein Pudding (200g) after fragments of glass were discovered inside the product.

The recall specifically targets two fan-favourite flavours. If you bought the Chocolate flavour with a best before date of 09/05/2027, or the Salted Caramel flavour marked 28/04/2027, you need to step away from the spoon.

Where Were They Sold? The affected chocolate tubs were available at Coles supermarkets, as well as independent retailers including IGA and Supabarn. Meanwhile, the salted caramel version was stocked at Costco.

What You Need to Do The food safety watchdog has made it completely clear: do not eat these puddings from the recalled batches. Consuming glass fragments can cause serious injury.

If you have one of the affected tubs sitting in your kitchen, return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Anyone who has already consumed the product and has health concerns should seek medical advice immediately.
