A two-vehicle crash has left a man in hospital and forced police to shut the Bruce Highway at Calen.
Emergency crews were called to the scene just after 7pm Tuesday after a car hit a stationary truck.
A man in his 30s was able remove himself from the vehicle and has been taken to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition with head and shoulder injuries .

Debris was scattered over highway and both lanes were closed, but have since reopened.
