A man has escaped serious injury after a single-vehicle crash with a tree at Valkyrie, south west of Mackay.
The man was left trapped in the vehicle for almost two hours after the incident, on Iffley Connection and Fitzroy Developmental Road at 2.45pm yesterday.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were called to the scene and cut the man from the wreckage.

The RACQ CQ rescue helicopter airlifted the man to Mackay Hospital with minor injuries.
