A Walkerston man has allegedly been caught carrying knives at a shopping centre.
Around 2.30pm on Friday, police approached a man in a shopping centre car park and detained him for a search linked to another matter.
During the search, officers allegedly found two knives in the man’s backpack.

The 25-year-old man was charged with unlawfully possessing a knife in a public place and is due in the Mackay Magistrates Court on September 24.
