A head-on crash near Rockhampton has claimed the life of a Mackay man.
Around 8.20pm, emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway at Bajool.
An orange Holden Colorado utility and a white Holden Rodeo utility collided head-on, killing a 63-year-old Paget man driving the Rodeo.

The 36-year-old man and 33-year-old woman in the Colarado received minor injuries and were transported to Rockhampton Hospital.
Both lanes of the highway were closed for about six hours while examinations were conducted at the scene.
Anyone with dashcam footage or who may have seen the vehicles just prior to the crash are urged to come forward.
