Exciting changes are on the way for two parks in the Mackay region.
Tanglewood Park, Dapplewood and Possum Close, Andergrove will be receiving upgrades to their play equipment.
The council says the existing play equipment has served the community well, but it’s reached the end of its life – even after multiple repairs and a fresh coat of paint.
With parts no longer available, it’s time for a well-deserved upgrade.
Incoming for the parks are new play equipment, expanded play space, inclusive play elements, more safety features, fresh landscaping and new connecting paths.
Construction will start this week and is expected to be complete by mid august depending on the weather.
