Road closures are now in effect along Stockroute Road to make way for the Walkerston Bypass.
The road is permanently closed at Bakers Creek to allow for a bridge to be built, however local traffic is able to get through.
Another temporary closure is in place on Stockroute Road, east of Walkerston Homebush Road.
This is expected to last for about eight weeks to facilitate realignment works.
A detour will be in place for these closures via Hansens Road, Peak Downs Highway and Walkerston-Homebush Road.
