The latest Marvel Studios movie trailer just dropped for the upcoming “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” and it’s as weird as it is gorgeous.
This marks the third full feature film for ‘Ant-Man’ and also kicks off Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that started with Iron Man back in 2008 and has spawned multiple films and TV shows since.
In this latest adventure Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and The Wasp.
The stars keep coming with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) also playing big parts in the film.
This time the family finds themselves accidentally transported to the Quantum Realm, which is inhabited by strange alien like creatures, and set out on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.
The film also sees iconic Marvel Comics villain Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors return after a brief appearance in the Loki series.
It’s believed that Kang will be the major antagonist of Marvel’s ‘Multiverse Saga’ in the same way Thanos was during the ‘Infinity Saga’.
“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” is set for release on February 17th 2023.
