A 24-year-old man has been charged with several offences following an alleged traffic crash at Blacks Beach.
Investigations are ongoing into the incident which happened at 8.45pm last Thursday, on Pacific Drive.
A vehicle allegedly struck a parked car and a power pole, causing electricity disruptions for residents nearby.
The man has been charged with drink driving, driving without due care and failing to comply with duties of a driver involved in a traffic crash.
Police say the man returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.116 per cent.
He will appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court on February 28.
