Police are appealing for public assistance following the alleged assault of two women at Airlie Beach.
Officers say the alleged assault took place on February 8, in a caravan on Schute Harbour Road at around 1.50am.
A man is accused of entering an unlocked caravan, where four women were sleeping.
He allegedly assaulted two of the women, before fleeing on foot.
The women were not physically injured.
The man is described as having a slim build with a light tanned complexion, dark brown short wavy hair, aged in his mid 20’s and about 175 – 180 centimetres tall.
It’s believed he was wearing a dark coloured t-shirt with a small white logo on the front and a large white logo with a swirled image on the back, and was wearing beige/light coloured shorts.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have information to come forward.
