Police are appealing for information into an alleged assault at a West Mackay business.
Officers say a man entered a recreational business, at 2.23pm yesterday, before being approached by staff about not having appropriate footwear.
It’s alleged the man became agitated and pushed a staff member to the chest before elbowing him to the face and then tackling him to the ground.
By-standers removed the man from the staff member and he then left the area on foot.
He is described as being an adult male, Asian in appearance and wearing a yellow shirt and thongs.
Investigations are ongoing.
