Police investigate farm shed break-in at Carmilla

A farm shed at Carmilla has been broken into and a string of items have been stolen.

Police say it happened sometime between last Friday and Monday, on property at Gillinbin Creek Road.

It’s believed the intruder gained entry by forcing open the rear doors with an implement and causing damage.

Commercial power tools, a chain saw, paint thinners, paint, batteries, grease cartridges, welding helmet, plasma cutter, spray paint, fuel funnels, camping chairs, electric powered water blaster, socket set and a variety of milwaukee tools have all been stolen.

Outside of the shed was a large diesel fuel tank which was accessed and a significant quantity of fuel was also stolen.
