Four people have been charged following a shooting incident in the Mackay Northern Beaches area.
Around 2.10am on July 8, police were called to reports of shots fired outside an Andergrove Road licensed premises in Andergrove.
Four people are accused of driving to the premises before firing several shots at an unoccupied vehicle.
On July 9, police raided at a Bucasia address and seized seven stolen firearms, including three pistols and four rifles.
A 25-year-old South Mackay man was charged with three counts of possessing dangerous drugs, and one count each of possession of weapons, and authority required to possess explosives.
A 26-year-old Beaconsfield man was charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs, and one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, contravening order about information necessary to access information stored electronically, unlawful possession of weapons, authority required to possess explosives, and possess tainted property.
A 19-year-old North Mackay woman was charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs, and one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, and unlawful possession of weapons.
A 31-year-old North Mackay man was charged with two counts each of possessing dangerous drugs, and possessing utensils, and one count each of unlawful possession of weapons, producing dangerous drugs, possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence, and authority required to possess explosives.
All four people are due to face Mackay Magistrates Court this month.
Meanwhile, police are continuing to investigate a separate incident that occurred around 2.40am on July 8, after residents reported gunshots being fired at a Denman Avenue address in Shoal Point.
Police conducted patrols of the area, but were unable to locate the unknown offender, and a short time later a crime scene was declared at the property.
The occupants of the residence were not physically injured.
